Online entries will close on January 27, 2012.
For 2012...
1. Top 3 animals will be weighed back with 5% on hogs & 5 lbs on lambs and meat goats.
2. All arrivals after 9:30 am will pay a $50 Late Arrival Fee.
3. Weigh period will be Saturday February 4th, 2012 from 7:30am – 9:30am ONLY!
4. Weigh Cards DUE by 9:30 am! All entry fees will be returned to exhibitors in the form of class premiums and awards .
GENERAL RULES
1) All exhibitors must be 19 or younger as of January 1st, 2012.
2) ALL LATE ENTRIES MUST BE PAID IN CASH!
3) Each exhibitor must show his/her own animal. NO EXCEPTIONS!
4) Shavings will be available for purchase on the fairgrounds. NO STRAW ALLOWED!
5) Any sheep showing evidence of sore mouth or Club Lamb Fungus will be asked to leave the fairgrounds immediately. Exhibitors must show lambs teeth.
6) Any evidence of unethical practices will result in disqualification - points and premiums will be withheld.
7) Class premiums will be paid on a percentage based on the number of animals in the class.
8) All exhibitors in the show ring must be clean and neatly attired.
9) The show management reserves the right to change the show schedule and classes to improve the show.
10) The MJC Showmaster Classic and all those associated with the show will assume NO responsibility for death or injury to livestock or persons nor damage to property at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds during the period of February 4-5, 2012.
11) NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED ON MJC GROUNDS!
12) NO SMOKING IN THE LIVESTOCK BARNS!
13) Exhibitors will be allowed to leave after completion of the show. Pens must be cleaned out prior to departure.
14) Clipping is permitted on grounds, but snaring is not allowed.
15) There is a 50 lb. minimum weight on hogs. There is no minimum weight on lambs or goats.
16) Livestock may be unloaded on February 3, 2012 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm as well as on February 4, 2012 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Please contact the MJC Agriculture Department at (209)575-6205 for further information.
17) The use of generators is encouraged.
